We are a large primary school in Washington in the north east of England. Our school was built in 2002 and we have fantastic facilities on site. We have our own swimming pool, tennis courts and MUGA as well as a huge field with football pitches and a developing forest which we are starting to use to learn in. Learning is very important to everyone at George Washington Primary School and is central to everything that we do. We know that although our lessons are important and our teachers make them fun, we don’t just learn when we are in lessons but that learning takes place all of the time whatever we are doing.
